Salary: £27000 - £30000/annum

Conference Administrator, OX44 - car required - £27,000 - £30,000
Monday to Friday 35 hours a week - normal office hours
6 weeks holiday
Pension: company contributes 6.5% of basic pay and the employee is required to contribute a minimum of 1.5%.

Global CTS Recruitment are assisting this organisation to recruit a key role in the hospitality team administering enquiries and bookings for the facilities, as well as being a welcoming onsite presence and point of contact or conference and other users.

This is a key role in the team overseeing and administering enquiries and bookings for the buildings, as well as being a welcoming onsite presence and point of contact for conference and other users.
As a member of the team you will support the work of the Chief Operating Officer across all aspects of activities, helping to enable the smooth, friendly and efficient operation of a small but complex organisation in which the contribution of each team member is valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

* Take and co-ordinate bookings for all meeting rooms and accommodation

* Manage conference enquiries, establishing requirements, quotations and booking forms and dealing with all correspondence

* Input all bookings into the booking system

* Ensure all information necessary for the smooth running of an event or booking is collected

* Liaise with colleagues, catering and housekeeping to ensure the best possible service to students and outside visitors

* Update public calendars with all bookings and events

* Arrange for the payment of deposits by hirers, and issue invoices for full payment

* Ensure AV and other equipment in the meeting rooms is set up correctly and in good working order


* Conference and events experience ideally, but not essential

* Experience of working in a customer facing environment

* Communications experience, particularly in relation to social media

* Customer service skills is a must

* Excellent IT skills

* Good problem solving skills

* Flexible, friendly and calm attitude and approach

* Good people skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Calm under pressure

* Friendly and approachable attitude
