Part-Time Science Teacher (0.6 Contract) - Maternity Cover

A fantastic mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team on a 0.6 contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, ensuring high-quality education for students and inspiring a love of learning in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Support the academic and personal development of all learners

Work collaboratively with the Science department to maintain high teaching standards

Contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a qualified Science Teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

Have a passion for Science and for inspiring young minds

Be available to start from September 2025
