We are seeking a dedicated School Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role involves carrying out the duties as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and its successor documents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Serve as a Class Teacher for a designated class group.
  • Teach pupils according to the published timetable and prepare specific educational programmes to ensure lessons are well-prepared and engaging.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to stimulate learning, tailored to pupil needs and the demands of the syllabus.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures, encouraging good practices in punctuality, behaviour, and standards of work.
  • Provide timely marking, levelling, and feedback on student work both written and verbally.
  • Collaborate with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and other staff on educational matters.
  • Participate in school liaison activities such as open days, review days, and events with other schools.
  • Integrate core subjects such as English, Maths, and Computing throughout the curriculum.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities including outings, social activities, and sporting events.
  • Supervise and guide the work of teaching assistants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching and classroom management.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.
