Role Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for someone with experience in quality engineering, ideally with mechanical and/or electronics engineering experience. Any experience or knowledge of ATEX hazardous area certification or another regulated engineering environment would be extremely beneficial.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and developing the company's ISO 9001:2015 QMS and maintaining our product and manufacturing approvals, ensuring that all products meet the business and customer quality expectations and regulatory requirements.

Tasks

Developing and maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 QMS
Ensuring products meet internal and external quality requirements
Working with suppliers to identify, isolate and resolve issues with defective components
Liaise with the sales team to resolve quality control issues
Maintaining quality documentation following technical changes to products and processes
Monitoring and developing the quality inspection processes and auditing these processes
Conducting internal audits and writing reports
Ensure calibration certificates are kept up to date
Requirements

Technical qualification such as HNC/HND or above in an Engineering or Science discipline
Experience in a similar role
Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System with knowledge of audits, documentation and process improvement"
