Maths Tutor / HLTA

• Job Type: Part-time (4 days a week, Tues-Fri)
• Location: Near Horsham
• Duration: Four weeks starting 29th February
• Focus: Preferably with a Maths focus

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Tutor or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a strong focus on Maths to join our team for a short-term cover. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality educational support and who can engage students effectively in Maths.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons and support to students, ensuring they understand the material and are prepared for any assessments.
• Work closely with the teaching staff to develop lesson plans and educational materials that meet the curriculum standards.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and additional support where necessary.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, encouraging students to actively participate in all activities.
• Address any individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a teaching or tutoring role with a strong focus on Maths.
• HLTA status is preferable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
• Driver with access to a car
