A specialist independent school in Somerset is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team, working with students aged 10-18 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and other additional learning needs.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key part in helping students thrive—both academically and personally. Working alongside teachers and therapists, you'll provide personalised, hands-on support in both the classroom and 1:1 settings to help build confidence, independence, and positive routines.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students across a variety of subjects and activities

Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to meet individual learning needs

Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage student engagement

Promote consistent, supportive behaviour management

Assist with classroom planning, preparation, and organisation
