Role- Maintenance Team Lead

Salary- £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Type- Permanent

Location- Glasgow

My client is a specialist manufacturer within the construction industry. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Lead to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Team Lead will ideally have the following attributes:

Minimum of Time Served Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering / Manufacturing
3+ Years' experience working in a medium - large automated manufacturing operation
Previously worked with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Equipment etc.
Confident with fault finding, issue rectification and routine maintenance activities
Background in Mechanical fitting/maintenance positions
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage others
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work 

The Maintenance Team Lead role will involve:

Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and plant maintenance
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
Supervising onsite contractors
Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
