Stores Operative
Job Description
GEM Partnership are excited to be working with a new client on an exclusive basis to support them with staffing solutions, A world class global manufacturer they are looking to recruit into the Stores area, they are a proud employer of choice and offer a range of career opportunities, as a Stores Operative you will be based in their Warehouse and be responsible for the duties within this area, We are looking to recruit a Temp to Perm opportunity for this role.
Duties
- Preparation of goods for outward transit (including boxing, labelling etc.)
- Reconciliation of works orders and job paperwork
- Handling stock and moving it to the correct locations in a timely manner (some heavy lifting will be required, and manual handling training will be provided)
- Create and maintain all shipping documentation
- To prepare kit of parts for production to build
- Perform quality checks on components
- Maintain tidy, clean and safe working environment
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Required knowledge, skills or experience
- IT Literate
- Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Communication skills
- Stores experience

Location: Newton Aycliffe
Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 & Friday 08:00 – 13:45
Rates of pay: £12.52
