With a portfolio already valued in the tens of millions, this organisation is entering an exciting new phase — and they're looking for a commercially astute Finance Director to lead their finance function and help shape strategic growth.

About the role:
This is a newly created senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the board. You'll take full ownership of the finance function, leading a small team and acting as a key voice in business-critical decisions.

What you'll be doing:

Oversee all core financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, and treasury
Lead and develop the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Act as the key point of contact for external advisors and stakeholders
Support the board with commercial analysis and financial strategy
Play a hands-on role in appraising and delivering new investment opportunities What we're looking for:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
5+ years post-qualified experience, ideally with exposure to project-based or asset-heavy businesses
Strong financial modelling skills and a sharp commercial mindset
Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day financial oversight
A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Bonus points for:

Experience in capital raising or funding structures
