Responsibilities:

- Subject matter expert for voice & multimedia platforms regionally and globally

- Analyze business requests and provide solutions to meet their requirements

- Maintains architectural roadmaps for key technologies and recommend strategies to deliver maximum functionality for optimal cost

- Provide accurate, clear, concise documentation and assistance to Voice Support, Service Operations and Desktop Support teams throughout all phases of projects

- Lead/Participate in multi-discipline design teams when necessary

- Provide 3rd level escalation support and interface with vendors and other teams to resolve high priority issues as needed

- Occasionally participation in conference calls out of normal office hours is required. These may be due to meetings involving global participants or during 3rd level support on critical incidents

Requirements:

- In depth knowledge with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and associated tools and applications such as Unity Connection, Webex, Meeting Server, Telepresence Management Suite, Session Manager Edition, Unified Contact Center Express, Attendant Console, etc

- Working knowledge of trader voice technologies from vendors such as BT, IPC & Speakerbus with turrets, intercoms and private wires are essential

- Working knowledge with Voice Recording systems from vendors such as Nice and Verint is required

- Good knowledge of IP voice and video protocols such as H323, H264, MGCP, SIP, SCCP, MPEG, RTP,

- Minimum CCNP Voice certifications or equivalent

-Minimum CCNA certification or equivalent for data networking

Preferred requirements

  • -Strong Cisco routing and switching networking skills with proficiency in protocols - TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, Multicast, IP CEF preferred

- Working knowledge of mobile voice, multimedia and virtualization technologies is preferred

- Background working in large enterprise voice networks is desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to this role

- Strong oral and written communication in English
