PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
Location: Near Thetford (must have own transport)
Salary: £26,500 + regular overtime
Hours:
• Mon-Thurs: 08:00-16:45
• Fri: 08:00-15:00
Holidays: 25 days per year (Jan-Dec) + bank holidays
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly, preparation, and packing of products before dispatch. A great opportunity for someone reliable and practical who is looking for a long-term position with full training provided.
The Role
You will work as part of a team to carry out a range of production tasks, including:

Preparing components and materials
*
Assembling products to manufacturing standards
*
Applying fittings, fixtures, labels and other product details
*
Packing, palletising and preparing items for delivery
*
Using air and powered hand tools (training provided)
*
Reading and working from manufacturing drawings (training provided)
*
Following all health & safety procedures
*
Supporting with general production duties as required
Manual handling is involved. The heaviest individual panel weighs approx. 15kg.
About You
*
Reliable, punctual and able to manage your workload
*
Strong attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
*
Confident using or learning hand/power tools
*
Good communication skills within a small team
*
Full driving licence and own transport (site is 5 miles outside Thetford)
Experience with CNC machinery is desirable but not essential.
