Children’s Residential Support Worker (Nights)

Location: DoncasterService: Children’s residential home supporting children with learning difficultiesHours: 40 per week Contract: Full time, Permanent Pay: £12.25 - £13 per hour depending on experience 

The Role

This role provides stable overnight presence and continuity of care through waking nights, supporting children’s safety, routines and wellbeing. You’ll work within a well-staffed team and follow clear care plans and safeguarding procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a calm, reliable overnight presence 
• Respond appropriately to any night-time needs and complete handovers
• Maintain safeguarding, recording and incident reporting standards
• Contribute to morning routines and continuity of care with the day team
• Work to a rota (no back-to-back shifts)

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in children’s residential care or similar LD/ASC support
• Driver with access to a vehicle
• Able to commit to minimum 40 hours per week

Desirable

• Experience with learning difficulties, ASC and positive behaviour support
• Strong recording/communication skills
