Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Arabic Speaking
Location: Fallowfield, Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: 2 terms atleast, starting January 2026
Pay: £450-£550 per week

A Primary School in Manchester is seeking a skilled and experienced Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team for two terms starting in January. This is a full-time role supporting the teacher in delivering the Year 6 curriculum, so the school are seeking somebody with prior upper KS2 experience.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and have significant experience providing classroom support in Upper Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a motivated group of Year 6 pupils, helping them achieve their academic potential.

Role Responsibilities:

Support the Year 6 teacher in delivering the full KS2 curriculum

Work with groups and individuals to reinforce learning and ensure progress

Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and learning resources

Support pupils in developing confidence, engagement, and independence

Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written)

Proven experience supporting children in Upper Key Stage 2

Ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday

Strong communication and organisational skills

Proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
