About the RoleHays Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Teesside area on a long‑term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT with a passion for delivering engaging and practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory‑based lessons
Manage a well‑organised and safe food technology classroom
Assess, monitor, and support student progress
Contribute positively to the wider school communityRequirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/4
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - essential
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to start immediately and commit to a long‑term roleWhat We Offer
