Our rates of pay are £12.40 with no qualifications, £13 with Level 2 in health and social care, £13.85 with Level 3 in health and social care.

shifts are

4x 10 hr shifts per week

8-6pm in the week 4x days

1x evening per 2 x weeks 12pm-10pm

Weekends 1 every fortnight 8-6pm sat or sun

Our client a private provider of supported accommodation for vulnerable adults in Bournemouth are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to provide a high level of support to people with varying degrees of mental health problems, learning difficulties, brain injuries and other complex needs.

Located within walking distance of the beautiful South Coast beaches the site is made up of 13 houses which are suitable for a wide range of support needs. On site there are fantastic leisure facilities including a cinema room, an activities centre, a pool table, gaming & computer room, a music area, library corner and ornamental gardens.

The role:-

Recognising that each person is a unique individual the support provided reflects the personal goals of each resident.

As a Support Worker you will focus on assisting residents to realise their full potential, maximising their independence in line with their aspirations.

Main duties:-

* To provide practical and social support to residents.

* To support individuals to participate in activities.

* To enable and support service users to develop their skills and confidence.

* To support and encourage service users to access the local community effectively.

* To contribute to the development of the service.

* To contribute to individual support/action plans for service users.

* To liaise with other staff, managers, collaborating agencies and service users. Ensuring individual needs are met and confidentiality maintained.

* To be actively involved in the delivery, assessment and monitoring of individual's support plans.
