Permanent Science Teacher (KS5 Physics Lead Potential) - Shape Future Scientists in London at An Outstanding School (Science Department)
An outstanding school in London is seeking a talented and ambitious Permanent Science Teacher with a strong specialization in Key Stage 5 Physics and the potential to contribute to leadership within our Sixth Form Physics provision in the Science Department. This role will be primarily focused on delivering exceptional A-Level Physics teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, challenging, and inspiring Physics lessons exclusively to A-Level students.
* Demonstrate a deep and current understanding of the A-Level Physics specification and assessment, with a focus on maximizing student outcomes.
* Track and analyze student performance in A-Level Physics, implementing effective strategies for progress and attainment.
* Collaborate with colleagues on the development and refinement of the A-Level Physics curriculum and resources.
* Mentor and support students in their A-Level studies and university applications for Physics and related fields.
* Potential to take on leadership responsibilities within KS5 Physics in the Science Department in the future.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A strong degree in Physics or a closely related field.

* A deep and current understanding of the A-Level Physics landscape and best practices in its delivery.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership potential
