About Us:
Our client are a reputable social housing provider committed to maintaining high-quality living standards. They are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician with experience in social housing projects to join their dedicated reactive maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within social housing properties.

* Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.

* Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to deliver a high standard of service.

* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including compliance documentation.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

* Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants to ensure minimal disruption and effective resolution of issues.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

* Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).

* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (latest edition).

* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent

* Experience working in the social housing sector.

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.

* Familiarity with the latest electrical safety standards and regulations.

* Full UK driving license (essential).

* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

* Testing and Inspection qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).

* Previous experience working with tenants.

* Experience working within a housing association or local authority environment.
