The Role - Year 1 Class Teacher

We are looking to appoint a talented and experienced Year 1 Class Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Islington from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a confident Year 1 Class Teacher with strong knowledge of early phonics, behaviour management, and child development.

As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that help children build on their EYFS foundations and transition smoothly into more structured learning. You'll work alongside other Year 1 Class Teachers and KS1 staff to share ideas, co-plan, and support pupils of all abilities.
