This forward-thinking, mixed secondary school caters to students aged 11-18 and has built a glowing reputation for its outstanding SEN provision. The school's ethos centres on inclusion, empowerment, and excellence, supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 with a wide range of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

• ADHD

• Learning difficulties and processing challenges• Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)

The dedicated SEN department is led by a visionary SENCo and a team of passionate professionals who value teamwork, continuous learning, and a whole-child approach.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a resilient, nurturing, and proactive SEN TA who thrives in a dynamic environment and can build positive, meaningful relationships with students who need extra support.

You should:

• Have experience supporting students with special educational needs in a secondary setting

• Be comfortable working 1:1 and in small group settings, both in and out of the classroom

• Be patient, emotionally intelligent, and able to de-escalate challenging behaviours calmly and confidently

• Have a good understanding of differentiated learning and EHCP targets

• Be able to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of every student

• Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
