Niche off-shore law firm is looking to hire a new Legal Secretary to provide general secretarial support to fee earners within the Litigation and Corporate departments. You will be creating, editing, amending and storing correspondence and documents in the appropriate electronic matter file, including the preparation of "blacklined" documents, responding to internal and external telephone enquiries in a professional manner, acting as a filter to manage and control calls, maintaining current billing and collections systems, which includes liaising with clients and accounts department, handling the photocopying, faxing and scanning of documents and correspondence, coordinating meetings, arranging the opening, closing and archiving of accounts and files, arranging travel for Partners and Associates, as required, maintaining and updating details of client contacts and addresses in the Firm's InterAction and AdEx databases, supporting other members of the secretarial team to complete work to a high standard and meeting required deadlines, carrying out KYC due diligence checks as requested by the designated lawyer, and any other ad hoc duties when required. Candidates should be proactive, be proficient in the standard Microsoft Office package, and have the ability to liaise with personnel across all levels of seniority. Offices are based in the City.
