We are seeking a highly qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) to join our client's team in a full-time capacity.

Job Description:

Our client is a long-standing firm of Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors located in Hertford, Hertfordshire.

They are in search of a dedicated and experienced Accountant with a minimum of seven years of accounts preparation experience within a professional accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills.

They should excel at time management, working autonomously, maintaining accuracy, and meeting deadlines while delivering exceptional client service. Proficiency in key software such as IRIS, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and bookkeeping applications (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, KashFlow) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Extensive experience in preparing accounts for Limited companies under FRS102, Companies Act 2006, sole traders, and partnerships.

* Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns.

* Preparation of Personal tax computations and returns.

* Proficient knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).

* Familiarity with SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) and Property Mark (estate agent client money) would be advantageous.

Applicants should either be based in Hertford or be willing to relocate to Hertford, SG14 1BP, before commencing work.
