📍 Leiston, Suffolk (with international supplier visits)
💰 £450 per day (PAYE)
📅 Contract until end of 2026 with potential extension

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a major UK infrastructure project within the Supplier Quality function. This role sits within the wider Quality Delivery team responsible for ensuring quality performance and compliance across a complex global supply chain.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of the Supply Chain Audit Programme, providing assurance that suppliers understand and implement project quality requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver supply chain quality audits in line with the annual Supply Chain Audit Schedule

Review supplier processes, documentation and quality systems to ensure compliance with project and contractual quality requirements

Produce clear audit reports detailing findings, actions and improvement opportunities

Communicate audit findings and recommendations to internal teams and supply chain partners

Manage and track audit findings through to resolution

Analyse audit outcomes and contribute to future audit planning and supplier development initiatives

Work closely with programme teams to identify risk areas and quality improvement opportunities

About the Role

The position sits within the Supplier Quality Department, part of the wider Quality Delivery Organisation, which develops and maintains quality policies, standards and best practice across the project.

Working alongside programme Quality Delivery Managers, the Quality Manager will help provide assurance that quality requirements are clearly understood and implemented throughout the supply chain.

Experience Required

Experience conducting quality or supply chain audits within highly regulated industries (e.g. Nuclear, Energy, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Aerospace or Defence)

Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit methodologies

Experience working with large engineering or infrastructure supply chains

Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills

Willingness to travel internationally to supplier locations and project sites when required
