We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded provider who is seeking a Registered Manager for their 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) service based in Handsworth.
The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring it provides a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver outstanding care and meet the highest regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and relevant legislation
- Lead, support and develop a high-performing staff team
- Create and maintain a positive, child-centred environment
- Effectively manage budgets, staffing, and care plans
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Proven experience managing a children’s residential service
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- A child-focused approach with excellent leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
