The Role As a Social Worker in the Child Protection Team, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans. The primary responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload of children and families with Child Protection Plans in place.

Undertaking statutory visits and assessments to assess risk and family needs.

Implementing and reviewing multi-agency Child Protection Plans to ensure they are effective.

Working collaboratively with professionals from health, education, and the police to ensure a coordinated response.

Preparing high-quality, analytical reports for Child Protection Conferences, legal planning meetings, and court proceedings.

Responding to new safeguarding concerns and leading on Section 47 enquiries.

Maintaining accurate and timely electronic records to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
