Rate of Pay: £32 per hour

As a Social Worker in the Child Protection Team, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans. The primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of children and families with Child Protection Plans in place.

• Undertaking statutory visits and assessments to assess risk and family needs.

• Implementing and reviewing multi-agency Child Protection Plans to ensure they are effective.

• Working collaboratively with professionals from health, education, and the police to ensure a coordinated response.

• Preparing high-quality, analytical reports for Child Protection Conferences, legal planning meetings, and court proceedings.

• Responding to new safeguarding concerns and leading on Section 47 enquiries.

• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic records to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
