As we continue to expand our reach, we're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow our client base, drive strategic partnerships, and strengthen our market presence.

Role Summary
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities,
building strong client relationships, and delivering innovative consultancy services in the utilities
sector. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive, target-driven individual with a strong
commercial acumen and passion for sustainable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted sectors (commercial, industrial, SME).

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold outreach, and
referrals.

Understand client needs and deliver tailored consultancy proposals across energy, water, and telecoms.

Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and
delivery.

Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company goals and client expectations.

Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote our services and expand
brand visibility.

Provide regular performance reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.

Requirements

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the utilities or
energy sector.

Strong understanding of utility markets, procurement processes, and cost-saving strategies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage multiple accounts effectively.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings
