Your Role as a Science Teacher

As an essential member of the science faculty, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons

Planning and executing high-quality lessons that promote scientific thinking and foster a deep understanding of key scientific principles

*

Supporting students in their academic journey, helping them achieve their potential in science

Mentoring less experienced colleagues or trainees, sharing your expertise as a capable Science Teacher

Contributing to the development of the science curriculum and taking part in departmental planning

Participating in wider school activities, including science-related events, clubs, and academic competitions

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

Holds qualified teacher status (QTS) or is in the process of obtaining it (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
