Ridgeway & Co are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London. This is a permanent role offering long-term career development, working on high-value projects across the capital.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final accounts

Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and progress claims

*

Assess and approve subcontractor applications and payments

*

Provide accurate cost forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting to senior management

*

Support the project delivery team with cost control and budget management

*

Ensure compliance with contracts, legislation, and company processes

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Tier 1 main contractor

*

Strong commercial awareness and cost management expertise

*

Demonstrated experience managing packages on major projects

*

Excellent negotiation, reporting, and communication skills

*

Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
