New exclusive Quantity Surveyor position in central Kent

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £ negotiable and dependent upon experience

Package: £6,000 - £7,500 car allowance (dependent upon level), 5% pension, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.

Location: Central Kent

This contractor is a central Kent construction company that is very well established and deliver a broad range of projects across Kent and neighbouring counties.

Projects typically range in value from £250,000 - £3 million with a repeat client base.

The Quantity Surveyor role:

Managing commercial activities on a range of construction projects.

Procurement and placing subcontractor orders.

Pricing variations, preparation of valuations, negotiating and ongoing final accounting for contractor and client accounts.

Cash flows and cost reporting.

Attending site meetings and client meetings.

About you:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or civil engineering contractor.

Qualified to a HNC level or above.

Strong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills.
