Job Title: CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location: Shipley
Working Hours: Days - Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (45-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £17.50+ per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)

The Role:

Thrive Group are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator on behalf of our client based in Shipley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business offering stability and a great working environment.

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines
• Working from engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
• Adjusting machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet required standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens or similar desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
