The Role

We are looking for an Import Clerk with experience in ocean freight and UK customs procedures.

In this role, you’ll focus mainly on sea freight imports to start, with the opportunity to learn and grow into other areas of freight forwarding over time.

Duties

• Handle import documentation and customs clearance using CDS
• Track and manage incoming shipments from origin to delivery
• Work with carriers, agents, and customs to ensure smooth clearance
• Keep accurate records and update systems
• Support the wider team across other freight types as you grow into the role

Experience required:

• Experience in ocean freight imports and customs clearance
• Familiarity with CDS and UK customs processes
• Good attention to detail and organisation skills
• A team player with a willingness to learn and grow
• Confident communication skills
