Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal
Locations: Gloucestershire, hybrid. On site parking or permits provided.
Hours: full time
Salary: £25K - £27K DOE + bonus.
OVERVIEW
A well-established multi-practice firm in Gloucestershire is seeking a paralegal to join their busy residential conveyancing team. You'll support solicitors and fee earners with file management, gaining hands-on experience across the full conveyancing process. RESPONSIBILITIES
You will join a team of other competent experienced paralegals providing hands on support to the fee earners and solicitors within conveyancing this will include;
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other parties to gather information and provide updates.
* Review and verify property titles and Land Registry documents.
* Prepare and draft conveyancing documents
* Instruct and review property searches
* Maintain accurate case files and manage deadlines.
* Support the completion process, including contract exchange and property transfer.
* Ensure compliance with UK property law and Solicitors Regulation Authority guidelines.
* Provide general administrative support and handle correspondence.
* Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervising solicitor.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Level 3 or Level 4 CILEx (Conveyancing) is highly desirable but not essential.
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* At least two years' experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, at least one of those within conveyancing or property.
* Ability to draft legal documents.
* Experience handling client communication and working with estate agents, lenders, and other third parties.
* Proficiency in case management and legal document preparation.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under supervision to meet deadlines.
* IT skills, including legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
* Confident and proactive approach, with the ability to work well within a team.
* Willingness to learn, grow and develop within the team.
