About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-driven Accounts Supervisor to support the growth of our legal cashiering function.

In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure strict compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, and lead a small team within a fast-paced, modern legal environment.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our cashiering processes while working closely with Legal Ops, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

As our Accounts Supervisor, you will:

Daily Cashiering & Financial Operations
  • Process client and office account receipts and payments
  • Manage high volumes of property transactions and completions end-to-end
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations
  • Accurately post transactions in full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
Compliance & Process Management
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor client account balances and manage timely transfers
  • Produce internal financial reports and assist with external audits
  • Identify and implement improvements across systems and processes
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
  • Liaise with legal teams on completions, disbursements, and billing queries
  • Support, guide, and supervise a small team of 2–3 people
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal Ops, Compliance, and Finance
About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 5+ years’ legal cashiering experience, with strong exposure to property transactions and completions
  • Excellent knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules
  • Confidence leading and supporting a small team
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience using legal accounting software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a legal tech or modern law firm (highly desirable)
