Expleo is seeking a highly skilled Safety Systems Engineer to join our customer in the Warwick area (contract basis). This role is pivotal in ensuring the functional safety verification of battery management controls software.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as a recognized subject matter expert in the field, leveraging advanced education and extensive work experience.
* Coordinate activities among all stakeholders to deliver safety-related verification tasks effectively.
* Promote a common approach and implement common technical solutions across all projects.
* Ensure compliance with ISO26262 [Part 6]/[Parts 4&5] standards.
* Tackle complex and challenging problems with innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience in functional safety verification, particularly in battery management controls software.
* In-depth knowledge of ISO26262 standards.
* Strong coordination and communication skills.
