Production Manager

* £47,000 plus annual bonus

This is a blue chip company based in Basingstoke with a long history within their industry - they are market leaders in their field.

They are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team.

The objective of the role is to manage a team and production functions to ensure daily processing and despatch targets are met and delivered.

The role involves:

* · The preparation, processing, finishing, repair and dispatch of all garments, mats, cabinet towels and other items to required standards as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual.

* Lead, organise and motivate a team of 70 within the production department

* Recruit staff in consultation with the General Manager

* Provide ongoing training and coaching for staff and review staff training and development

* Ensure the welfare of all staff in the team

* Achieve production targets and keep all costs to or below budget

* Constantly develop and improve production processes to improve efficiency

* Report to the General Manager on production performance

Experience required:

Candidates must come from a Production environment, ideally within Laundry but if not, within the FMCG market place.

Experience of managing and developing a team within production is also required.
