About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and qualified accountant with at least 2 years of practice experience. You’ll support senior team members in delivering a wide range of accounting services, with a particular focus on management accounting and business advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Accountant and Senior Client Advisor in delivering client services
- Prepare interim and year-end financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation
- Review payroll reconciliations and assist with cashflow forecasting
- Provide support for management accounting and reporting
- Communicate proactively with clients to understand their needs
- Identify opportunities for additional services and process improvements
- Assist in training and mentoring Accounts Technicians
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Minimum 2 years of practice experience (client-facing preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship management and emotional intelligence
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Xero preferred
- Organised, proactive, and committed to internal procedures
