A dynamic SEMH school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Youth Mentor to join their team immediately.

The Role - Youth Mentor

As a Youth Mentor, you will:

* Provide 1:1 support for students with SEMH, ASD, and challenging behaviour.

* Build positive, trusting relationships to help students engage in learning.

* Use de-escalation and behaviour management strategies effectively.

* Encourage personal, social, and emotional development.

* Support students in both classroom and pastoral settings.

* This role requires a calm, empathetic, and patient approach, along with strong behaviour management skills. You must also have at least 1 year of experience working with young people in a similar setting.
