We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for leading the development and commercialisation of Perspectum’s innovative pharmaceutical products!

About the Role

You will work closely with both cross-functional teams at Perspectum, including engineering, science, marketing, and sales; and with customers, prospective customers, experts in pathology, and clinical operations within trial sponsor companies and contract research organisations to drive product strategy, define product requirements, and ensure successful product launches.

You will directly support the sales/business development (BD) teams, joining to support pitches, requests for proposals, bid defences, managing customer expectation, and will share responsibility for the continued growth in revenue and market capture.

  • Take responsibility for the technical and commercial success of their products.
  • Drive internal buy in and resourcing for the development and servicing of their products.
  • Provide pre-sales, pitch, request for proposal (RfP), and post-sales support for the BD teams as a product expert.
  • Define and influence the market placement of products.
  • Update, manage and share the product roadmap internally.
  • Gather customer feedback on existing products and work with internal teams to translate into product improvements/features to satisfy requirements.
  • Play a key role in defining new versions and new features of their products based on customer experience/feedback to feed into product strategy.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity, market research, global markets, and identify trends for the product.
  • Attend sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, etc.
  • Work with engineering, QA, service, R&D, and operations to ensure product complies with regulatory requirements and customer-demanded standards, including information security, QSR, and traceability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and customers.
  • Coordinate marketing campaign/initiatives/events for specific product.
  • Ensure the successful commercialisation and utilisation of product.
  • Work with BD/sales teams to build a commercial opportunity pipeline

About You

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and customer needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Good leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have a strong background in product management and/or digital pathology within the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with excellent communication and project management skills.
