CNC Machinist - 3 Shift Rotation

Location: Livingston Shifts: Monday to Friday (Early Finish Every Friday)Salary: £39,989 rising to £40,800 after probation

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Livingston, operating within the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is a permanent role offering stability and career progression with a globally know company.

Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation)

Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm (12.20pm Friday)Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (12.20- 6.40pm Friday)Week 3: 10:00pm - 6:00am (6.40pm- 1am Friday)We have opportunities for weekend only working if this is your preference.

Key responsibilities of the role

Setting and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)Loading programs and making tooling offsetsProducing precision components to engineering drawings and specificationsCarrying out quality inspections using measuring equipmentWorking to strict quality, safety and compliance standardsSupporting continuous improvement within the machining department

Candidate Requirements

Time-served CNC Machinist OR equivalent HNC qualification in EngineeringProven experience in a CNC machining environment ideally 2 years minimumAbility to work a 3-shift rotating patternStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with CNC controls such as Fanuc or HeidenahinHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality
