We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Workington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a fast-paced production team.
Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Workington
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Start date: Monday 2nd March 2026
The role- Operating and monitoring specialist production equipment
- Assisting with material preparation and processing activities
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting the wider production team with general duties as required
What we're looking for- Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a physical, team-based environment
