Senior Planner - Infrastructure & Construction | Permanent | UK-Wide Projects(Hybrid: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office)
We’re working on behalf of clients delivering some of the UK’s most complex and high-profile infrastructure programmes - and we’re looking for experienced Senior Planners to help make them happen.
This is a key opportunity to take ownership of schedule development, interface management, and stakeholder engagement across major schemes. If you’ve built your career in infrastructure and want to be part of a delivery-focused, multi-disciplinary environment, this could be the perfect fit.
What you'll be doing: -
Developing accurate and achievable schedules for major construction projects.

Collaborating with cost, risk, and procurement teams to ensure aligned and robust estimates.

Supporting Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and scenario planning.

Managing dependencies and project interfaces across various disciplines and stakeholders.

Promoting clear communication, transparency, and schedule ownership across delivery teams.

Validating plans using benchmark data and BIM/4D inputs where appropriate.
What we’re looking for: Must-haves:

5+ years of experience in planning roles within infrastructure or major construction programmes.

Strong Primavera P6 capabilities and confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Good understanding of civil engineering or multidisciplinary environments (e.g. Civils, M&E).

Ability to communicate complex programme information clearly and persuasively.
Nice-to-haves:

Exposure to BIM, 4D planning, or parametric estimating.

Degree-qualified or formally certified in project or programme management (e.g. APM, PRINCE2).

Familiar with contract types including NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and Alliances.

Membership of relevant professional bodies (APM, ICE, CIOB).
