IBM Cognos Controller & Planning Analytics Consultant (Contract)

We are supporting a client who is looking for an experienced consultant to help optimise and further develop their existing IBM Cognos Controller and Planning Analytics (TM1) environment. The system has been in place for several years and is already used for financial consolidation, but there is clear potential to expand its capabilities and adopt best practices.

The focus of the role will be on improving the current setup, enhancing financial reporting processes, and introducing additional modules where relevant. Alongside hands-on configuration and advisory work, the consultant will also support the client in building internal capability by providing guidance and training to their teams.

This role would suit someone with strong experience across IBM Cognos Controller and Planning Analytics, ideally with a background in financial consolidation and performance management. Previous experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment will be important, particularly where you have been involved in optimisation or improvement projects rather than initial implementations.

The engagement is expected to start in May 2026 and run for approximately three to six months. The work can be delivered remotely, English is the working language.
