We are recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Cannock from November 2025 until July 2026. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of this becoming a permanent position within the school.

Your Role

*

Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

*

Assist with small group learning where required

*

Adapt and create resources to meet different learning needs and styles

*

Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in learning

*

Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to deliver consistent, holistic support

About You

*

Graduate or soon-to-be graduate (all degree backgrounds welcome)

*

Experience with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential

*

Empathetic, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed

*

A strong communicator and proactive team player, open to learning and professional growth

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
