Company Details and Job Overview:Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a business who are based in the Kendal area and have been operating for over 40 years. The company prides itself on its professional yet personal approach in dealing with and supporting its customers and staff. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time and permanent basis, and are offering a wide variety of benefits including study support. In addition, you can work your normal working hours across 4 days, rather than 5, giving you an extra day off each week. There is also the opportunity to progress and become an Assistant Accountant.Your New Role as the Accounts Assistant:As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following duties:-
• Checking and re-allocating nominal postings
• Coding of Purchase Invoices
• Credit Control
• Completing and checking of mileage logs
• Ledger Maintenance – ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
• Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
• Checking and allocating commission
• Stock counts
• Responsible for Petty Cash
• Daily BankingExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• IT Literate.
• General office / administration experience
• Effective time management and attention to detail
