About the care provider:
Opportunity to join this dynamic non-profit social enterprise who specialize in supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour, that challenge by using positive behavior support.
Our clients provide support currently to a network of people in Bracknell, Wargrave and the Woodley area.
About the role:
Our clients are proud that our Service Manager hold significant accountability and opportunity for the Support Living Providers.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities across several different supported living settings.
Helping the people they support live a fulfilled life, you will also act as the role model and supervisor for the team.
Coaching and mentoring and supporting the Support Workers who are providing excellent person centred care in a safe environment and in-line with our client's policies and procedures.
Staff management compliance
Legislation & finance
A key element of this role is adopting a proactive approach to ensure relationships are built with local authorities, shareholders, friends and family of the person you support, as well as within the team.
The Ideal Applicant for this position: Learning Disabilities
Ideally you will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Solid experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities or Autism or Mental Health and also with those who display Challenging Behaviour.
To have experience in managing/leading a team within the Social Care or similar environment.
Must be a car driver
Able to work flexibly, including some weekends
Able to participate in the on-call-system Rota
