Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Operations Manager as the Production Supervisor you will manage a small team of production operatives across the manufacturing facility based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. This position will be responsible for driving continuous initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimise efficiency.
- Supervise a medium-sized team (approx. 14 operatives), ensuring daily targets, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Manage team performance including attendance, absence, and any disciplinary or investigatory matters.
- Plan and allocate daily labour effectively to maximise machine utilisation and output.
- Create and maintain efficient production schedules and sequencing to meet operational demands.
- Monitor and troubleshoot general production machinery, supporting fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimise efficiency.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across teams and shifts, ensuring a collaborative working environment.
Key Requirements:

Salary Information:
