What to Expect in the Role

As a Metal Fabricator/Welder, your day-to-day tasks will involve working with stainless steel and other metals to produce precision components and assemblies. Responsibilities include:

• Fabricating and assembling metal parts using hand and power tools
• Performing welding tasks (mostly MIG with a bit of TIG / STICK) to secure components
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials accurately using basic maths
• Conducting quality checks on completed work
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in line with health and safety practices
• Collaborating with colleagues to improve production methods and efficiency

What We Need from You

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of hands-on skills and a good attitude. You'll need:

• Experience in metal fabrication and welding (sheet metal experience is a plus)
• Strong MIG / TIG / STICK welding skills and confidence using fabrication tools
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and work efficiently
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings
• A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work
• A proactive and team-oriented approach
• Welding certification is desirable but not essential - a willingness to learn is key
