Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner

Location: Hexagon Tower

Pay Rates: £20.15 Per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

* Have a professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and have a current registration with the appropriate registration body (Nursing and Midwifery Council, Social Work England or Health and Care Professions Council).

* Have the suitable experience in a mental health setting or have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the mental health field.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

* Relevant Qualifications

* Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.

Role responsibilities:

* To manage own working day in liaison with AMHP Hub Manager, to reduce additional hours worked and to minimise accrued TOIL.

* On occasion to deputise for the AMHP Hub Manager and manage handover of work at AMHP Hub, including accepting and triaging referrals.

* To provide information and support for nearest relatives and where appropriate carers and families.

* To assist with formal and informal education activities for Trust staff, other agencies service users and carers.

* Take a pro-active role in identifying risks and acting on the results to resolve problems at source wherever possible bearing in mind resources and priorities and liaising with Line Management.

* To undertake any other reasonable duty, when requested to do so by an appropriate Trust manager.
