Maintenance Operative
Location: Bristol
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a hands-on individual with a background in general maintenance and a proactive attitude? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation in the South West, supporting the upkeep and functionality of a busy site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance to buildings and external areas

*

Organise and maintain storage of hire and sales equipment

*

Assist with loading, moving and dispatching equipment with the yard team

*

Conduct site visits to assess or assist with equipment positioning and removal

*

Maintain workshop and yard tidiness

*

Support multiple departments with additional tasks as required

*

Adhere to health & safety, quality, and environmental standards including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

Requirements

*

Broad general maintenance skills

*

CSCS/CPCS/ECS card preferred

*

Forklift and MEWP licences desirable (training can be provided)

*

Slinger/Banksman certification advantageous

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Able to prioritise tasks and work both independently and within a team
