Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking dealership, is seeking a skilled Workshop Controller to lead their busy service department. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to work within a supportive and progressive environment that values staff development and excellence in customer service.

Competitive basic salary between £36,000 and £38,000 depending on experience, with potential to earn more through bonuses and overtime

Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high standards of service
Managing and motivating technicians to achieve targets and maintain customer satisfaction
Tracking vehicle progress within the workshop and liaising with Service Reception to keep customers informed on repair status
Ensuring operational procedures comply with dealership standards and maximise workshop profitability
Supporting team development through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews
Upholding high levels of customer service and communication throughout the service processRequirements:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a supervisory role within the automotive service environment
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate personnel
Technical background or experience in service advisory is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills and a customer-focused approach
A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar role
