About the Role

A highly regarded secondary school in Slough is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education lessons and promote a positive approach to health, fitness, and wellbeing across KS3 and KS4.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT seeking a supportive environment and a rewarding temporary placement.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver practical and theoretical lessons that inspire participation and progress
• Plan, assess, and report on student learning
• Contribute to extracurricular sports and enrichment activities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding
• Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school team

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
